A love for working with colleagues in a collaborative and supportive manner and openness to the unexpected is essential. They will work with class teachers to support student learning. They will also support the school’s healthy growth and development through cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with the Principal, parents, Governance Board, Contractors, and other partners.

Qualifications:

- Experience working with Special Education students

- Experience working with students with significant behavioral needs

- Experience in writing, implementing, and following IEPs

- Knowledge of various math and reading interventions

- Knowledge infusing technology into the classroom

- Knowledge of implementing PBIS and restorative practices

- Applicants must be able to work with a team

- Ability to build rapport with students and staff

- Knowledge and background with conducting educational assessments

- Crisis Prevention and Intervention Training
